What’s the Shed

For the time being, the “shed” is the storied Flood Music Studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It has a certain kitschy charm, and enough jazz ballers have navigated the rickety stairs with “I don’t need this shit” looks on their faces that I won’t lament it too much should we decide to move. Still, the Shed was the first practice studio I rented in New York, and the site where I began “getting my shit together”, and it retains a lot of charm and nostalgia in its 3.5 square feet.
